Thompson is a wonderful blend of rayon and linen, combining the best of both fibre types. This lightweight fabric has a textured look of linen plus the silky soft drape of rayon without stiffness or wrinkles of linen.
Hand and Stretch: This fabric is super soft with a billowy drape. The fabric has linen look with some slubs and variance to the colour, but the rayon makes it soft to the touch and perfect for wearing against the skin. This fabric is ideal for garments that are less structured and take shape from the flowy drape, like a button-up shirt, elastic-waist skirt or long sleeved flowy dress. This fabric has 0% stretch and would not be suitable for tight t-shirts or leggings.
