Invermere 21W Cotton Stretch Corduroy has a lovely, supple texture with 21 raised rows in each inch of textile. Also known as a babycord or pinwale corduroy, this fabric has a dense number of wales that makes it very soft. It has a lovely sheen and almost ribbed appearance that is perfect for a cool-weather garment sewing.

Hand and Stretch: Invermere is soft and supple, with almost a velvet appearance. The tight wales create a fabric that is sturdy enough for cool weather sewing projects, but also one that has a gentle enough drape that can handle gathers and pleats. It is smooth and malleable, while still having a low drape that hangs away from your body when wearing. This fabric contains a small about of spandex, which is just for allowing the fabric to sit comfortably as you move about your day. This amount of stretch is not suitable for closely fitted garments like leggings or t-shirts.
