The Taimi Top or Dress pattern from Named Patterns is Spool of Thread's favourite for an breezy, stylish, top or dress. Both the dress and the top feature a voluminous gathered waist and rounded binding-finished neckline and armholes. There is so much to learn in making the Taimi!
Through making your Taimi Top or Dress you’ll learn to work with a commercial sewing pattern to find your perfect size, while showing off your favourite solid fabric or print along the way. This class will guide you through the essentials of garment construction, from creating bias binding to working with gathers, and will demystify the pants making process.

Prerequisites: 101 Sewing Machine Tote Bag or Throw Pillow, plus at least two or three level 200 or 300, or equivalent experience

Pattern Details: The Named Taimi Dress and Top pattern includes bust sizes from 29.8" - 52.75". If you are outside these waist measurements, please let us know when you join the class so we can ensure the pattern and fabric requirements are appropriate for your project.
