The Rae Skirt is an excellent choice for your first garment project. The Sewaholic Rae Skirt Pattern offers different options for skirt fullness, ensuring that this class will result in a skirt you will love! The skirt features a gathered waistband with a hidden elastic, and a 3 panelled skirt that allows for easy fitting and shaping beyond a basic skirt.

During the class, students will learn tips and tricks for working with commercial patterns, sewing waistbands, hemming and working with elastic.

Age: Adult

Time: 5 hours, 1 session

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

Prerequisites: 101 Sewing Machine Tote Bag or Throw Pillow, plus another level 100 or 200 class, or equivalent experience

Skills Learned:

  • using a commercial pattern
  • sewing an elastic waistband
  • hemming a skirt
