Tilly and the Buttons Lotta Dress Paper Pattern

Lotta is a simple dress with a blousy bodice and a flared skirt that is cinched in with a fine, elasticated waistline. Perfect as a first dressmaking project or a quick sew for the more experienced, Lotta is a versatile dress that can be made in either a woven or knit fabric. Choose between a midi or knee length skirt with short or bracelet length sleeves and optional, deep patch pockets.

Recommended Fabrics: Light to medium weight fabrics with a good drape, such as chambray, viscose, rayon, lyocell, double gauze, brushed cotton or crepe. The short sleeve version can also be made in less drapey fabrics such as linen, cotton lawn and seersucker.

Knee-length:

Midi-length:
All sizes, 60" wide = 3.25 yards
All sizes, 45” wide = n/a

Knee-length, bracelet-length sleeve:
Sizes 2-8, 45" wide = 3.25 yards
Sizes, 10-20, 45” wide - n/a

Knee-length, short sleeve:
Sizes 2-8, 45" wide = 2.75 yards
Sizes, 10-20, 45” wide = n/a

Staff Notes:
All sizes of the knee-length dress and sizes 2-12 of the midi-length dress will also fit on 56" wide fabric. Sizes 14-16 of the midi-length dress will fit on 58" wide fabric.
