Tilly and the Buttons Erin Dungarees Paper Pattern

The Erin dungarees are comfortable, easy fitting overalls that work for a variety of woven and knit fabrics. Princess seams and a lined bib create a tailored finish. The ties are easily adjustable, by pulling through buttonholes or tying at the shoulders. Choose between three leg lengths to adapt to the seasons and enjoy the functional in-seam pockets at the front.

Sizes: 2-30 included; Bust: 30" - 60", Waist: 24" - 53"

Recommended Fabrics: Soft woven fabrics or low stretch knits, such as French terry, ponte, needlecord, linen and blends, chambray, soft twill, viscose, rayon. If you’re using a relatively thick fabric such as needlecord, choose a light to medium weight cotton for the bib lining (and pockets if you like ) - otherwise you can use your main fabric for the lining too.

Full/cropped length:
Sizes 2-12, 45” wide = 3 yards + 1 yard lining
Sizes 14-20, 45” wide = 3.25 yards + 1.25 yards lining
Sizes 22-30, 45” wide = 4 yards + 1.25 yards lining

Sizes 2-8, 56” wide = 2.25 yards + 0.75 yards lining
Sizes 10-20, 56” wide = 3 yards + 1.25 yards lining
Sizes 22-30, 56” wide = 3.25 yards + 1.25 lining

Shorts:
Sizes 2-12, 45” wide = 2.25 yards + 1 yard lining
Sizes 14-20, 45” wide = 2.5 yards + 1.25 yards lining
Sizes 22-30, 45” wide = 2.75 yards + 1.25 yards lining

Sizes 2-8, 56” wide = 1.5 yards + 0.75 yards lining
Sizes 10-20, 56” wide = 2 yards + 1.25 yards lining
Sizes 22-30, 56” wide = 2.5 yards + 1.25 yards lining

Separate lining fabric is optional - you can use your main fabric for the lining too as long as it’s not too thick.
