Noodlehead Explorer Tote Paper Pattern

The Explorer Tote is perfect for overnighting with the larger size tote, or for everyday use with the smaller tote bag. The large size includes short handles and a detachable strap, while the smaller size has over-the-shoulder straps. The Explorer features a front pocket, divided back pocket, and a large divided interior slip pocket, open top or recessed zipper closure options, and a flap with closure provides extra security.

Recommended Fabrics: Waxed canvas, cotton canvas, cotton/linen canvas, denim, home decor fabric for exterior. Medium weight fabric for accent. Quilting cotton for lining.

Finished Size: 22” W, 14” H, 7” deep. (18” W, 13” H, 4” deep - small)

Fabric Requirements:

Exterior fabric, 44" wide = 1 yard

Lining fabric (includes interior pocket), 44" wide = 1.75 yards (small tote 1 yard)

Contrast bottom, 44" wide = 0.5 yards

Accent fabric (includes strap/handle), 44" wide = 0.5 yards (small tote 0.25 yards)

Staff Notes: If substituting fabric types for contrast bottom, additional interfacing may be needed for desired structure
