Recommended Fabrics: Light to medium weight wovens up to 8oz - cotton twill, denim, wool, dry oilskin. There are 9 layers to sew through during the pocket construction, so check the fabric you choose can be accommodated by your sewing machine.

With or without nap:
Sizes XS-S, 44” wide fabric = 3.25 yards
Sizes M-L, 44” wide fabric = 3.5 yards
Sizes XL - XXL, 44” wide fabric = 4 yards
Sizes XS-S, 55” wide fabric = 2.5 yards
Sizes M-L, 55” wide fabric = 2.75 yards
Sizes XL-XXL, 55” wide fabric = 3.25 yards
For women’s jacket - Reduce quantities by 5.75”
0.75 yards of cotton is required for the pocket flap tabs if using heavy fabric.
