Our Ready! Set! Quilt! is perfect for students who want to enter the quilting world. The class equips our students with the skills and experience to work through the entire quilting process from start to finish.
Ready! Set! Quilt! is a modern variation on a stacked coin quilt top, a versatile yet simple beginner’s project. By making the quilt top, students will gain an understanding for using a rotary cutter and ruler, and various quilt piecing techniques. After the quilt top is complete, students will assemble their quilts by pinning all layers together and then stitching the layers together using a walking foot. To finish the quilt, students will learn how to make binding and attach it to their quilt.
