Our Reusable Grocery Bag class is the perfect next step after our Sewing 101 classes! You’ll become more comfortable with the sewing machine while creating a handy, spacious grocery bag in your choice of fabrics.
Our instructors will guide you through sewing curves, a gusseted bottom, and a flat fell seam. All of which will be extremely useful in your future home and garment sewing projects!
After taking this class, you can say goodbye to plastic bags forever. You'll head home with easy to follow instructions and tips that will have you making this project again and again.

Time: 3 hours, 1 session
Skill level: Beginner
Prerequisites: 101 Sewing Machine Tote Bag or Throw Pillow or equivalent experience (ie. be familiar and comfortable using a sewing machine with recent experience)
Skills Learned:
- Sewing curves
- Sewing gussets
- Topstitching + using marking tools
- Sewing a flat fell seam
