Hello Sewing Friend!
For those of you that have known Spool of Thread for awhile, you'll know that Sewaholic Patterns is one of our favourite pattern companies! They are known for their great designs and instructions, and they're made right here in Vancouver!
You might even recognize the pattern names - all inspired by places or streets around the lower mainland.
We just restocked all 20 sewing patterns designs, so there is lots of garment inspiration to be had! Plus, each style perfectly with your favourite toque!
We have been teaching these patterns for years as part of our regular class offerings, and through these designs, so many of you have learned to sew the garments you've dreamed of making!
Here are 2 patterns that have expanded our community's skill set -
- develop your zipper skills and sew pockets in the above Hollyburn Skirt (see upcoming class dates here)
- tackle sewing knits on a sewing machine with the Renfrew Scoop Neck T-Shirt (see upcoming class dares here)
And, we just added a new date for our Sewaholic Rae Skirt class! This elastic waist flowy skirt is so cute and perfect. The class and skirt pattern are designed for sewists new to working with garment patterns and solves the mystery of what all the markings mean on tissue sewing patterns. Join our next session!
