Exciting news! There is a new class on our sewing schedule: the Winnie Trousers!
Our sewing classes hold a special place at Spool of Thread. The entire team loves seeing the transformation that occurs when someone takes a class! With a few hours of guidance from our skilled instructors, our class participants are filled with new knowledge and lots of creative motivation to tackle their next project! It's so fun and inspiring to watch.
The Winnie Trousers class is guaranteed to expand class-participants' knowledge and inspiration! The UK-produced Tilly and the Buttons sewing patterns are known for their effortless style and vintage-feeling designs.
Tilly and the Buttons patterns utilize straightforward construction elements and are super enjoyable to sew. I selected the Winnie design to be our newest class as it easily elevates elastic-waist trousers into a modern garment that can be sewn over and over again.
Plus, this pattern covers a number of garment construction techniques every sewist needs to know.
Join us April 25th + May 2nd for a two-day pants making class and learn about finding your perfect size, sewing pockets, flat front waistbands, hemming and lots more. And of course, at the end you'll have your own amazing, cute and comfortable Winnie Trousers!
