Teen Sewing 201
Introducing our newest addition to our teen sewing classes! Teen Sewing 201 is for teens aged 12+ who have taken our previous Teen Sewing Camp and would like to continue building their sewing skills.
Students will meet once a week for 6 weeks, and tackle exciting new projects including the Kitchen Apron, Fraser Sweatshirt, and Drawstring Bag. Projects are selected to focus on different skills to help build the students' sewing repertoire.
During the classes, the students will become more comfortable with the sewing machine and learn to sew patch pockets, interfacing and the different techniques involved in garment construction.
Skill level: Advanced Beginner
Prerequisites: Teen Sewing 101 or equivalent experience

- sewing patch pockets
- how to use a paper pattern
- basic construction + terminology
- how to use interfacing
- sewing with knit fabrics
- sewing drawstrings and casing
